The 12th edition of the Delhi Jewellery and Gem Fair (DJGF) will be held from 29 September to 1 October, 2024, at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Organised by Informa Markets in India, DJGF 2024 promises an impressive showcase of over 650 exhibitors and 700 exclusive brands, presenting more than 1,50,000 designs, including gold, silver, diamonds, pearls, gemstones, semi-finished products, and cutting-edge technology for the jewellery sector.

A key highlight of the event is the 2nd edition of the DJGF Silver Show, which will take centre stage in Hall No. 2, featuring an exquisite array of silver jewellery. Anticipating over 25,000 visitors, including leading national and international buyers, wholesalers, retailers, importers, and exporters, DJGF provides a dynamic platform for networking, brand promotion, and business expansion.

The fair will spotlight an extensive collection of the largest gold, Polki, and diamond jewellery, featuring prominent brands from the natural loose diamond sector such as Shree Ram Krishna Exports, Hare Krishna, Sheetal, and SJW Shivam. This event will reflect the latest market trends and emphasise the sector's dedication to innovation. It is supported by key industry associations, including The Bullion & Jewellers Association (Delhi), Delhi Jewellers Association, Karol Bagh Jewellers Association, Maliwara Jewellers Association, and All Bullion & Jewellers Association.

Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director, Informa Markets in India remarked, “India’s jewellery sector is on a remarkable upward trajectory, with exports reaching $6.87 billion from April to June 2024. As a global leader in cut and polished diamonds, gold, silver, and lab-grown diamonds, India's growing stature is reinforced by government measures like 100 per cent FDI under the automatic route and AEO status for streamlined trade processes. Organised gold jewellery retailers are expected to see revenues increase by 22-25 per cent this fiscal year, driven by the recent reduction in import duty. DJGF 2024 aligns with this momentum, offering a powerful platform for industry professionals to connect and seize emerging opportunities.

The fair has consistently been a cornerstone for the jewellery sector, and this year’s edition promises even greater innovations, showcasing exclusive brands and fresh designs that will foster collaboration and growth. We are eager to spotlight the best of North India’s jewellery industry and elevate the event to new heights.”

In addition to the displays, DJGF 2024 will host knowledge sessions, conferences, and workshops covering topics such as responsible sourcing, emerging retail and colour trends, the evolving jewellery market, and opportunities in gem and jewellery exports. These sessions will provide valuable insights from industry leaders, enabling attendees to stay ahead of trends and leverage new business avenues.

The much-anticipated Retail Jewellers Guild Awards returns, celebrating the finest jewellery designs and innovations that are shaping the industry's future. Recognised as one of the most prestigious awards in the sector, this event offers networking opportunities and industry exposure. Furthermore, in collaboration with SVAR Media, the 4th edition of the highly coveted 'Shakti – Honouring Women Achievers' will take place, recognising women entrepreneurs and trailblazers who have redefined the jewellery industry. This initiative underscores the vital contributions of women in shaping the future of the gem and jewellery sector.

DJGF 2024 is poised to be a landmark event, reflecting the brilliance and diversity of India’s thriving jewellery industry, while fostering connections that will drive its continued success.
