​​​​Wiz Khalifa to debut in India with Time Out 72

Joining the ranks of recording artist Jason Derulo and DJ, Martin Garrix, Wiz will be headlining Day 2 of the festival that aspires to reinstate the spirit of community, connection and conversations in the festival arena. 

The 'See You Again', 'Black and Yellow', 'Payphone and Young', 'Wild & Free' hitmaker is an anomaly in hip-hop these days. The Atlantic Records signee has dropped a total of six solo albums, has multi-platinum singles to his name. He’s also come to be known for many things even outside of the rap world. His fashion-forward, high-end style sets trends on red carpets and his rock star attitude has worked in his favor when it comes to broadening his fan base. To date, the Taylor Gang leader has collaborated with acts like The Weeknd, Maroon 5, Fall Out Boy and more. The rapper owns his own record label. 

The 29 year old, Wiz Khalifa states, “Hey India, I'm really excited for my debut performance in India. I can't wait to meet all my Indian fans at Time Out 72 this December in Goa."

Adding on, Vaishal Shah, Founder, Time Out 72 says, “We believe there is a huge market for hip hop and rap which remains neglected in the festival arena. Wiz was our preferred  choice and we are extremely pleased to host him in India for the very first time. "  

Conceptualised and produced by Waterlemon Events LLP and Sudarshan Entertainment World, the festival will be privy to 3 days of a multiplicity of music genres. Comprising of a mix of homegrown artists and global support acts, Time Out 72 aims to blur the lines between technology, music and adventure in a web of artistry. Adding a dash of international experience at the festival will be art installations, international emcees, flea markets, solar powered stalls, adventure zones, grafitti panels painted through the festival, chill-zones with the world cuisine. The festival will cater to an assortment of sounds such as pop, rock, indie, live and dance and will feature 3 stages apart from multiple after parties making it an all-encompassing family friendly festival. This event also aims to put a strong emphasis on security for women and zero tolerance towards banned substances.
