Cartoon Network Enterprises is aiming for a double digit growth in the year 2016 as it expands into new South Asian markets of Sri Lanka and Nepal in partnership with some of the biggest FMCG brands including Perfetti, Heinz, Unilever, Parle, Mondelez, United Biscuits and Kellogg's. In line with the growth strategy, CNE announced some major collaboration with players from the retail and e-commerce such as Myntra & Future Group.
The event saw over 200 merchandising partners attending the showcase of CNE & Warner Bros. extensive portfolio of current and future IPs, TV shows and movies. Mr Anand Singh, Director South Asia for Cartoon Network, Siddharth Jain, Tuner India’s Managing Director and Biance Lee, Managing Director, Warner Brothers Consumer Products, Greater China, Southeast Asia and India shared preview to plans in the coming years.
A merchandise zone was created which had a display of all the merchandise from various characters of Cartoon Network Enterprises. The event also saw thematic food counters.
