The Body Shop is launching a new campaign for a global ban on cosmetics animal testing. The Body Shop is planning to take the 'Forever Against Animal Testing (FAAT)' campaign to the United Nations, and requesting for an international convention banning cosmetics testing on animals. The FAAT Campaign along with their Brand Ambassador Jacqueline Fernandez, is trying to call out to people, who care about animal welfare, from across the globe to join the cause and sign the petition.
The Body Shop was the first international beauty brand that campaigned against the practice of animal testing in cosmetics in 1989, leading the way to a European Union-wide ban on animal testing in 2013. FAAT campaign aims to end this practice of animal testing inevitably.
The FAAT campaign can be participated in, by signing their petition at the Palladium Mall (Phoenix Court), Mumbai on 9th June 2017, at 4.00 p.m.
