Goa Tourism participates in 39th IFTM Top Resa –MAP Pro Trade Fair

This year, Goa Tourism comes to Paris with ‘Viva Carnival Theme Stall’ which was inaugurated at the hands of Shri. Manohar Trimbak Ajgaonkar, Minister of Tourism, Govt. of Goa. Also present was Shri. Menino D’Souza, Director of Tourism, Govt. of Goa at the opening of the 39th edition of the IFTM Top Resa - MAP Pro Trade Fair. This event is a gathering for the tourism industry currently taking place from 26th - 29th September at Paris Porte de Versailles in Paris.

“I’m delighted to be in Paris at this year’s IFTM Top Resa Trade Fair where Goa Tourism is focusing on the ever popular Goan Carnival Theme for next year along with several other upcoming festivals. Goa has a charm for travelers to explore its unique beauty by offering Leisure, Wedding and MICE tourism thereby attracting many foreign tourists from this part of Europe who are interested in exploring and visiting Goa’s unique and biggest events,” said Minister of Tourism, Govt. of Goa, Shri Manohar Trimbak Ajgaonkar.

This colorful Carnival theme stall from Goa Tourism is erected on an area of 45 sqm and two side open displaying colorful Carnival masks adoring the stall all round it and portraying drawings besides posters of Goa’s unique tourist attractions making it an eye-catching attraction at this travel trade fair. Various Goa Tourism facets like Adventure tourism, Wellness tourism, MICE tourism, Heritage and Hinterland tourism were also highlighted in a big way.

Goa Tourism officials interacted with travel and tour operators and agencies from various global markets and also received an overwhelming response from Free Independent Travelers (FITs) and independent travel aggregators.

IFTM Top Resa - MaP Pro trade fair aims to become the single most privileged platform for all major players in the industry. Thus, this fair has aimed to become a multi-segment event bringing together in one place Leisure, Business, Events and Groups at a French and international level.
