FILING NOMINATION FOR BW APPLAUSE EXPERIENTIAL MARKETING AWARDS – IN 8 EASY STEPS
Countdown to the second edition of BW APPLAUSE experiential marketing awards is on. The deadline of 31st December as the last day of nomination is fast approaching. These awards are presented by BW Applause in association with EVERYTHING EXPERIENTIAL. If you are an event or experiential professional, and still haven’t filed your nomination or here are 8 EASY STEPS you can follow to showcase your best work in front of an eminent jury panel.
STEP ONE – FIND YOUR CATEGORY
You can log on the website http://bwevents.co.in/ee/bw-applause-awards/index.html . Then click on the 3 parallel lines icon on right hand corner. Few options will pop up. Click on Nominate and an online form page will appear. In this page- go down to SELECT CATEGORY. Click to browse the categories available. There are 80+ categories to choose from. Covering MICE, WEDDING, VENUES, ARTISTS, MANAGEMENT AND OTHER EXPERIENTIAL AREAS. Choose the ones relevant to you.
The category name is self explanatory so you can gaze and select which one is best suited for you based on your field of contribution to the industry.
STEP TWO – CHOOSE AN EVENT YOU DID BETWEEN 1st JUNE 2017 and 31st JULY 2018.
This shall be an event that represents your best work and one of which you have the data available. As to create a wholesome entry you will need adequate images and video footage to draw content from. The better quality of images, video and content the better chances you would have of hooking and convincing the jury of your credentials.
STEP THREE – CLIENT LETTER (NOW OPTIONAL)
This step requires you to acquire a signed letter from the client for whom the work was produced, stating that they approved the work and give permission for the work to be included in the awards. The letter needs to include the confirmation of the date of execution of the event.
This step is made optional considering the holidays.
STEP 4 – EDIT AND CURATE YOUR ENTRY DATA
There are following ways in which you can deliver your story to the jury members.
STEP 5 – UPLOAD TO GOOGLE DRIVE
The online application form will only accept sharable links from Google drive. Hence, once you have prepared the content for your entry as per the required specifications you should upload it to Google drive and get the link.
Every Gmail account has a Google drive and on opening your accounts, as u click on the DOTTED SQUARE icon on the right corner, few options pop up , including drive option. Click on that and the drive window opens and clicking on MY DRIVE you can find the UPLOAD option. Once uploaded, you make a right click on the file and get the link through “get sharable link” option.
STEP 6 – ENTRY FEE
There is a filing fee of only 5000+ 18% tax for each entry. The fee is same for all categories. You have to transfer the amount in the account details provided in th RULES & REGULATIONS section and note the Unique transfer code.
For those who file the nomination, entry to the convention and awards is complimentary along with one guest.
STEP 7 – READ THE RULES AND REGULATIONS PAGE CAREFULLY
The rules and regulations page carries all the information relevant to the filing of nominations. It includes criteria for entry and criteria of judgment.
Important date, material specifications and crucial guidelines can all be found on that page.
STEP 8 – FILE YOUR ENTRY
The final step that you must take by 31st December 2018 and kick start your 2019 with a potential award to your credit. Something that not only symbolizes your hard work, excellence and achievement but also gives an opportunity to others in the industry to be introduced to you brand and be informed on the great work that you are up to.
