The thriving Wedding industry comes to a halt amidst the Coronavirus pandemic. The popular industry phrase of 2020, “love is not cancelled,” called for couples to marry in elopements and micro-weddings amidst the pandemic and save a grand celebration for later. The tiresome process of deferring the wedding celebrations due to lockdowns and uncertainty of the third wave hovering over us, couples pick dates in winters to tie the knot. Those who have their hearts set on lavish indoor weddings will have to roll the dice and make a choice. It is interesting to note that something which was born out of compulsion has now transformed into a trend and a habit that is being embraced whole heartedly by the current generation. They truly believe that marriages should be an intimate affair to be enjoyed and celebrated with close friends and family.
Since the wave has still not settled, being cautious is the correct way forward. There have been reports of weddings becoming lavish events.
