On May 4th 2016, Canon India took another giant leap in the digital imaging business when they launched the EOS-1DXMarkII camera. The camera is a legendary product in every way starting with a phenomenal burst rate, its blazing fast with recording too, and delivers sharp clean images even in dim lighting. With a powerful expandable IOS range and a super sensor this camera performs well for photographers moving to and from various projects such as stadiums, to safaris to studio and everything else that comes in between with the portfolio requirements that a photographer is looking for.
The launch of the camera was planned to awe the audience and capture and frame the sheer energy and excitement in the room. With three world renowned photographers present at the venue as guests of honour at the launch, the show could not have been better. Simon Bruty a legend in his field and he is a prolific photographer with many awards on his bag, including the coveted NPPA Best of Olympic Action Photographer, 2011 who did a session online with audience with his latest project. Second guests of honour were
Raju and Ashish Sultania, (father and son duo) represent over 40 years of excellence in both traditional and candid wedding photography. And Sudhir Shivaram’s work in wildlife photography is marked by striking technical sophistication and evocative character, capturing wildlife in moments that create an awe inspiring and mesmerizing effect for viewers. Each one them took sessions on photography by showcasing their life’s work and sharing their view point and how digital technology has revolutionised the world of clicking a simple picture which tells a significant story. The sessions held by the three guests of honour were powerful and captivating with some of the best shots captured in time and history.
