Chat GPT - Adding New Dimension To The Business’ Growth

Open AI’s newly launched tool ‘ChatGPT’ stormed the internet and rippled the world with the uncertainty of losing their jobs. Twitter was flooded with thousands of examples of people using ChatGPT as a research tool and their go-to app for random questions. On a technical level, it has nothing advanced as previous AI systems, it’s just better at what it does.
So do you think ChatGPT can replace humans?
It is often a topic of debate that AI will replace millions of jobs but the real impact depends on how we manage this massive transition. The World Economic Forum study predicts that digital technologies will create at least 12 million more jobs by 2025.
It is no lie that technological advancement is giving birth to millions of new jobs, which is why humans need not be worried but should learn to work alongside AI and how to manage, program and correct AI. Similarly, using ChatGPT as a tool to augment our skills while we automate our regular jobs will save more time for upskilling and learning skills that machines don’t yet have. It will allow users to free up more time to focus on higher-value tasks such as strategy, innovating, complex problem-solving, and skills that require emotional intelligence and empathy.
ChatGPT is a knowledge-based platform that puts information in order but doesn't create original ideas, which is why no jobs will be replaced by it. Rather, it can be used to augment professional skills and enhance creativity and productivity. It is an opportunity to hone human skills that are likely to become more and more essential for career progression as businesses are moving into the era of AI and automation.
The World Economic Forum, however, stated that “The demand for human skills is not on the decline.” With new generative models, users can compile research, draft marketing content, write computer codes, and provide customized instructions and many more. ChatGPT can automate these repetitive tasks while providing more engaging interactions with users. It will introduce new roles across the care economy in technology fields and content creation careers (such as social media management and content writing).
Furthermore, new businesses will be more focused on empathy and human connections. It highlights the continuing importance of human interaction in the new economy through roles in the care economy; in marketing, sales, and content production; and in roles that depend on the ability to work with different types of people from different backgrounds.
The world is continuously evolving with technology, which makes it obvious that tech will disrupt day-to-day economic activities. Hence, ChatGPT will not replace anybody but it will require businesses to be more flexible to adjust by embracing new workflows and job tasks in economic systems.
