Dolby Laboratories and IPRS come together to empower music creators in India

Dolby Laboratories announced the launch of an educational program for members of The Indian Performing Right Society Limited (IPRS), India’s sole performing rights organization representing 6000+ prominent music authors, composers, and publishers across the country. The program will provide members the opportunity to attend Dolby Atmos Music Webinar Series covering technology & workflows, Dolby Atmos Tutorial Series, Dolby Institute Masterclass and a free trial to Dolby Atmos Production Suite among other activities.

Commenting on the program, Pankaj Kedia, Managing Director, Emerging Markets, Dolby Laboratories said, “Dolby Atmos is a new experience for creators and music enthusiasts. It presents an array of new possibilities for creators to experiment and express themselves with their recordings. Through this program, we are providing music creators and publishers in India the opportunity to discover and learn more about how Dolby Atmos is redefining, how music is created and experienced.”
