Thomas Cook's Helicopter Darshans To Elevate Spiritual Tourism

As per media reports, Thomas Cook India along with its subsidiary SOTC Travel has teamed up with the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board to introduce aerial tours of Adi Kailash and Om Parvat, the companies revealed.

This new five-day spiritual journey is offered at a subsidised cost of Rs 90,000 per person, thanks to the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board. The tour will commence at the base camp located in Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand. Pilgrims will visit the Manokamna temple on the second day, followed by darshans of Adi Kailash and Om Parvat starting on the third day.

Data from Thomas Cook and SOTC shows a doubling in demand for spiritual tourism year-over-year. The tour features two helicopter visits to Adi Kailash and Om Parvat and includes an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) ride to the Parvati Sarovar temple, with all vegetarian meals provided, as detailed in a statement by Thomas Cook India Limited.
