Skills India Business Event Concludes In New Delhi

Educators, trainers, coaches, CEOs and entrepreneurs pave the way for their companies and their lives, in a manner that helps them achieve their financial goals as well as lead a life of contentment.

Speaking at the Skills India Business Awards at the India International Centre on 6 April, 2024, SK Tandon, Founder, India IPO, highlighted the role of capital in a company, “Capital plays an important role in any business. We are living in a materialistic world, so you can't live without money.”

Tandon spoke about data from various research wherein 88 per cent of people feel that money is the reason for happiness.

He stated, “Money is important in everyone's life. And as far as business is concerned it's an essential ingredient. You can't do business without any kind of investment.”

With a background in releasing IPOs, he stressed the significance of it and mentioned that with entrepreneurs who want to expand their company, IPO is the right approach to take.

He cited examples of companies like Nykaa, Indigo, Paytm, and other big companies that have raised large sums of money to build their companies and make them what they are today.

Poonam Kalra, a motivational speaker, spoke about women's empowerment. She shed light upon a woman’s journey of how they need to be supported through different phases and stages of their life and should be motivated to fulfil their dreams and aspirations. She also stated instances of how her husband has been her pillar of strength throughout her life and continues to be so.

Author Sherry, the founder of Skills Business Awards, pointed out that emotions trigger people every second.

Dr Annurag Batra, Chairman & Editor-in-Chief, BW Businessworld and Founder, Exchange4media, brought out the prominence of publicising events utilising media. Talking about laying the foundation of Exchange4media as well as taking on the reins of BW Businessworld from the ABP Group a decade back, he underlined his journey in the entrepreneurship space – building and nurturing media companies.
