Good things happen to people who work for them, or rather in this case, talk for them. She certainly has served her time. It’s been two decades of a career that apart from charting its own course has also contributed to the metamorphosis of the category it navigates within. India’s experiential industry has often acknowledged her legacy to the world of live, at the dawn of this year she was honoured with Outstanding Contribution to the Indian Experiential Realm Award by BW Applause and everythingexperiential.com.

More recently India Today magazine named her as Nation Builder, one among 100 Nation Builders from across the spectrum of Indian industries, a noteworthy moment for the Indian experiential industry.

Gitikka was also recently seen in an advertisement for ICICI Bank that had Shahrukh Khan essay the role Pingle, a takeoff on the character he played in the film, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. “I took on this project only and only to enjoy the experience of working with him. So, I happily danced my way through it.”

She is now expanding her repertoire on stage as a moderator and motivational speaker. “I hope one day I can take my talk, made in India, to the world.” She says, as she walks onto stage, not a man, not a woman, not a celebrity, only a believer in the Fine Art of Talk.
