The Indian campaign at the world cup is not yet over as our heroes - ‘Wadekar Warriors’ - is all geared up to represent the country at the first-ever six-nation T20 Physical Disability Cricket World Series in England. In its endeavour to motivate the Indian players before they depart for the tournament, Seawoods Grand Central Mall, organized an event today at the mall and wished the team good luck.
Named after the iconic former captain Ajit Wadekar, members of the ‘Wadekar Warriors’ were greeted with loud cheer and applause by over hundreds of patrons who had gathered at the mall. In a fun-filled event facilitated by SGC Mall, cricketers were seen interacting with the guests, clicking selfies besides earning their best wishes to bring the trophy home. On the occasion, the mall had organized a box cricket match where in teams comprising of patrons played with the Indian cricketers.

Their achievement inspires all of us to strive hard towards overcoming all the challenges that come our way. All India Cricket Association for the Physically Challenged (AICAPC) has selected a strong team of 16 players who will represent India at the first ever world cricket series for the physically challenged to be held between 3rd to 14th August 2019 in England.
