Radico Khaitan conducted ‘Radico Premier League 2020’ Pan India

Strengthening its commitment to promote sports in India, Radico Khaitan Limited organised ‘Radico Premier League 2020’ in its pan India presence. It was a ten day’s long sports event under the popular categories such as Badminton, Chess and Table Tennis. The pan India sports tournament covered all the regions of the country majorly in Mysore, Hyderabad, Reengus, Rampur and Delhi.

The ten days tournament kick started on 17th February and came to an end on 28th February 2020, with its Finale at the Headquarter Office of Radico Khaitan in Delhi. The finale was graced with the presence of Mr. Abhishek Khaitan, MD, Radico Khaitan Limited. Mr. Khaitan distributed the awards to the winners and encouraged all the participants for their enthusiasm and positive approach towards sports.

On the occasion, Amar Sinha, COO, Radico Khaitan Ltd said: “Taking the Prime Minister’s mission forward for ‘Khelo India Movement’ we are proud to have successfully organized Internal ‘Radico Premier League 2020’. Radico Khaitan has been doing sports tournament in various states, but this is the first time that we have conducted Radico Premier League, pan India, where we also have our presence. It was thrilling to see the zest and excitement of our employees who have participated in this event. We feel honoured to create such platforms for our countrymen to showcase their talents and to encourage them to keep it going. This event has attracted people from all age and gender, who have participated in the League. We are committed and will continue to support our Indian Government in their initiatives to encourage the sports in India through our future endeavours”.

Past Sports Events Conducted by Radico Khaitan:

Half Marathon: This is one of the biggest sports events in Rampur, sponsored by Radico Khaitan. Approximately 1500 people participate every year. It has two separate categories for male and females.
T20, Day and Night Cricket Tournament: Radico sponsoring Day & Night cricket tournament on district level for village level cricket teams. This tournament is being conducted every year in village Ajeetpur.
Golf Tournament: Golf course of Rampur CRPF group centre is one of the biggest golf courses, where golf tournaments are being conducted throughout the year. Football & Hockey Tournament: Radico is sponsoring a district level Hockey & Football tournament where the students from all the government colleges participate in tournament.
Badminton Tournament at Lucknow: Radico sponsored UP Badminton Association Lucknow for state level badminton tournament, conducted in Lucknow.
