Nourish Organics’ Get Nourished Festival enthralls fitness enthusiast

With thrilling fitness sessions, breathtaking live acts and grooving DJ sessions, the curtains were brought down on the Nourish Organics’ two-day extravaganza Get Nourished Festival. The proceeds of the cultural-and-fitness were donated to the education of the specially abled children of Ananth Centre for Learning and Development.

The first of its kind event catered to fitness freaks, foodies, music lovers, artists, humanitarians and fun-mongers providing them a rich and wholesome experience. A special awareness zone was allotted for non-profit organizations like Dhyan Foundation, Spread a smile, Food for the hungry and One step greener to showcase their charitable causes and appeal to the people for contribution.

“We could not have asked for a better response than this in our first of its kind initiative as people have told us how much fitness and fun means to them. This happiness has turned further into an overwhelming feeling after learning that we have managed to raise substantial amount for specially-abled kids while promoting health and wellness through our event. I would like to thank each one of you for your support and help,”Ms Seema Jindal Jajodia, Founder, Nourish Organics.

The unique range of fitness activities included Pilates with Red Mat Pilates, Box Flow with Box Fit, Just move with Crossfit Create and Yin Yoga and Sound Healing with Ankita Gulati.

The day was also filled with amazing live acts like African Percussion by Sunshine Ensemble and a musical performance by Vardaan Chawla along with DJ sets Traffic and Secular Chai unleashing musical euphoria with exciting songs and beats.

Besides fitness and music, The Get Nourished Festival offered niche food experiences from different cuisines displayed in stalls and artisanal pop ups put up by Greenr Café, You Mee, Dr. Bubbles, MIAM Patisserie, Hearth & I, Vietnam-ease Caphe, Together at 12th and Minus Thirty Ice cream. Along with these was a beer garden that offered homegrown beer and wine for a thoroughly enriching gastronomic experience.

High End Fashion brands were organized in a seamless arrangement wherein people explored handicraft fashion, handmade jewelry, luxury clothes and active wear among other things. The brands showcasing their products included The Materialist, White Champa, En Inde, Kokomo, Kica Active, NOMH. Spiritual Warrior, Tiger Marron, The AA line, etc.
