10th August, 2019, shall witness a dazzling finale of a beauty pageant with a difference! Defying the age old norms that such rituals are merely confined for a certain age, this contest celebrates the Indian beauty in three categories, Mrs. India (for ages 20-39 years) and Mrs. India Classic (for ages 40-59 years) & Super Classic (above 60years)
The series of auditions, personal interviews, group activities & such like rounds of 18 candidates from Delhi/NCR were conducted. Out of which 6 contestants have emerged as top finalists..3 each from the Classic & MRS categories who are now going forward to compete in the grand finale.
Brain Child of Mrs. Deepali Phadnis, National Director of Mrs India Pageants & Productions Pvt. Ltd, this avante-garde concept was brought together by Ms.
Radhikka Tejppal, Regional Director, Delhi/NCR. Interestingly, Ms. Radhikka, a former flying fleet with a leading international airline till 1996, was herself, a winner of Mrs. India (Classic category) in the year 2018. Etching her glorious path towards international glory, Ms. Raddhikka then went on to winning Mrs. Asia Mrs. Personality conducted in November 2018 at Rayong Thailand. A strong propagator of education amongst the girl child, Ms. Raddhikka’s vision this year is not just to crown the ‘most beautiful’ but is giving a chance for all the contenders to build on their self esteem and giving back to the society.
The glitzy event combining the best of the region’s beauty, intellect and talent is going to get attended by a diverse audience with our celebrity guest being Award winning screenplay writer and actor Puja Ballutia . The esteemed Guest of Honor for this extravaganza is going to be the renowned Odissi dancer Mrs Vani Madhav.
The finalists competing for the coveted positions are namely, Jyoti Singh, YuktaDawar, Aradhana Jain, from the Mrs. India Classic Category and Cherry Peswani, Ruby Chaudhary and Jagriti Sikka from Mrs. India category. After grueling sessions in Styling Body Language & IPR Skills they shall go forward to compete for the first 3 positions.
To judge these well deserved finalists the competent jury includes Mrs Renu Gupta Adhikari Ms Sapna Anand along with the National Director Mrs Deepali Phadnis for Talent Round & Ms.Dimple Vohra Ms Resham Chawla & Mrs Deepali Phadnis for the finale. The winners will further move on to the National Level of the competition to be held later in the year in September at Chennai.
