Kaleidoscope 2019 presented by Realme( Official Smartphone Partner)- Final Days

The elimination days starting from 9th and going on till the 13th of September went off extremely successfully. The festival saw great participation from college teams as well as on the spot registrations. The stalls and kiosks have all been set up in anticipation for the main days 14th and 15th. Sophia College campus is buzzing with excitement as the workforce readies themselves for the two most exciting days at college. In Future Tense, the theme for the year is embodied by the décor and vibe on campus. The sprawling campus is packed with exciting activities like Zorbing, Tarot card reading, VR football, live music and an array of exciting events and competitions.

15th September is an eventful and jam packed day. Kaleidoscope 2019 host a panel for the second time ever, and this edition is like no other. Last year’s panel #HashtagTrending, was an interactive discussion with prominent social media influencers. It saw the likes of ShaanMutthathil, Aanam C, Larissa Dsa, Jason Arland and Mridul Sharma. The discussion was met with enthusiastic interaction from the audience and panellists alike. This year, Kaleidoscope revamped this event to host an all LGBTQIA+ panel, #PridePanel with prominent figures of the community attending to discuss the LGBTQIA+ lifestyle in India. The panellists include- Harish Iyer, who is an activist and motivational speaker, BidishaMohanta, a popular musician, Shrushti Ashok Mane, the 20 year old founder of the page @LGBTQmumbai, Yogesh Shetty, a fashion blogger and stylist and AniruddhaMahale, a writer of queer culture. The discussion will include current and exciting topics like section 377, queer culture, activism and body image! The panel will begin at 2:30 in the Convention Centre, it can’t be missed!

The After 8 event at Kaleidoscope 2019, sponsored by Bingo is a stand-up comedy event taking place at the end of the festival on Sunday. The event by Bingo Comedy Adda is held at the Bhabha Hall and is an entertainment event for the workforce and outsiders to let their hair loose after a tiring but exhilarating week of events and competitions. The line-up for this event includes prominent faces from the popular show, Comicstaan- Supriya Joshi and the winner, Samay Raina as well as famous comedians, Neville Shah and ShaadShafi. The event is open to all who follow @bingo_adda and DM them their names. This will be a must attend event for all those who like a bit of comedy.
