IREIS’ 11th edition set to kick off in Abu Dhabi in two days

The 11th edition of the International Real Estate & Investment Show (IREIS), the only real estate event in Abu Dhabi that targets investors and consumers instead of trade visitors, is set to kick off on October 30, 2019 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre and will run until November 1, 2019.

The announcement was made during a press conference held today, October 28, 2019, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. Present during the media gathering were Khalifa Al Qubaisi, Chief Commercial Officer of the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC), the host of this year’s event, and Antoine Georges, Managing Director of Dome Exhibitions.

Organized by Dome Exhibitions, the much-anticipated three-day exhibition will offer a snapshot of the international property market as a whole. Set to showcase more than 300 projects from 50 exhibitors, IREIS 2019 will feature a wide spectrum of available properties, different investment options, financing sources, and relevant consultations and legal advice under one roof.

During the media gathering, Khalifa Al Qubaisi said: “Our hosting of the 11th edition of IREIS reflects our commitment to the development of events held at our venues inside and outside the UAE, as we strive to boost the competitiveness of these events and its ability to attract major players in various sectors.”

Al Qubaisi confirmed that ADNEC has completed its preparations to host the current edition of the exhibition, ensuring all facilities and equipment are in place to meet and exceed the

expectations of exhibitors and visitors alike, as well as enhance the overall experience of in the exhibition. He reaffirmed that ADNEC is committed to working with the various organisers of events to present them in a way that suits the reputation and position of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

For his part, Antoine Georges, tackled the promising prospects in the local and international real estate sectors as well as key leading investment opportunities in Abu Dhabi and the UAE.

Georges said: “This year, we are honored that leading government entities comprising ADAFZ, DPM and the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED) are among our key exhibitors. We thank them for their support and their presence will also help ensure the success of the event. Their participation reflects the strategic importance of the event and its role in the further development of the local real estate market, which is considered one of the country’s economic pillars.”

“The annual event provides consumers from around the world with the best options for investment and leading insights into the market trends. For 2019, we have lined up more exciting activities and events to further enhance the experience of our international participants and visitors and cover broader high-growth areas in real estate. This year’s edition will feature additional segments focusing on free zones, innovations, startups, and investments in real estate to reflect the local and global market trends. We also aim to highlight Abu Dhabi’s ongoing efforts to boost the business environment and open up immense investment opportunities to attract more regional and international investors to the local market,” he added.

Several associated events will be staged as part of IREIS 2019. These include the first-of-its-kind ‘World Free Zone Expo (WFZE) Pavilion,’ which will serve as a platform connecting free zones with onshore and offshore companies and business startups; the ‘Startup Pavilion,’ a new initiative launched to support startups; the ‘Abu Dhabi Investment Conference 2019,’ a specialized investment conference that will focus on current investment trends and potential opportunities; and the ‘International Residency and Citizenship Expo,’ which will provide expert advice and guidance for individuals exploring citizenship and residency opportunities, including those available via investment activity. The ‘Innovation Hub Awards 2019’ to be held under the theme ‘Creating Innovative Sustainable Environment in Investments’ will target students and professionals to highlight innovative ideas across four categories of the environment, sustainable future, automation, and investments.

IREIS 2019 is supported by the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ADCCI) and some high-profile private companies such as the Berkshire Hathaway Home Services and Gulf Properties, one of the region’s premier real estate agencies, among others.
