Indian Museum hosts Indian Classical Musical Concert-Dance & Tunes

To promote Indian classical, Music " Dance & Tunes " was launched by Subhrendu Sekhar Dutta Roy & Subrata Dutta Roy of Dutta Roy Enterprises, Kolkata in collaboration with the Indian Museum under the Ministry of Culture. The Concert was hosted at the " Central Courtyard " of the age old Heritage and Iconic site of the Indian Museum on its 205th anniversary on 23rd March 2019.

The artistes who performed were Pt Tarun Bhattacharjee, one of leading Santoor Virtuoso of the world and a Grammy Nominee alongside Pt Prodyot Mujherjee the new age Percussion sendation & virtuoso and a Global India Music Award winner. This was followed by Dance from " Kalakhetram " a complete Dance Troupe by Professor Dr Subhashish Bhattacharya of " Rabindra Bharati " & Susmita Bhattacharya. 

Consul General & senior diplomats from Japan, Germany, China, USA, Italy, France & Thailand attended the above Concert besides audience from home & abroad alongside Senior Politicians & Bureaucrats. 

The above concert was sponsored by SwarSangam- A Birla Institute for Visual and Performing Arts, Titan, Berger Paints, and Taj Bengal & ITC Hotels. A concert is planned on " Ghazal "  at the Hyatt and a classical Concert on " Sarod "  by Maestro & two time Grammy Nominee at the age-old Heritage and Iconic site of Victoria Memorial during Dec 19 or Jan 20. 

Kolkata TV,  Doordarshan India, Hindu, IBN, Air India official Magazine covered the Concert.
