The Goa Tourism pavilion is set to captivate visitors at ITB (Internationale Tourismus-börse) Berlin 2024, scheduled from 5 to 7 March at the Berlin ExpoCentre City.
Goa's participation in ITB Berlin 2024 is a reflection of the State's focus on expanding its global presence and showcasing its tourism offerings to an international audience.
The Goa Tourism pavilion will showcase interactive exhibits highlighting Goa's cultural diversity to presentations on regenerative tourism, ‘Ekadasha Teertha’, the exposition of St Francis Xavier (SFX) that takes place once every 10 years, adventure tourism and eco-friendly initiatives, hinterland exploration, homestay policy, caravan policy, spiritual tourism and more.
This year the SFX exposition will be held from 21 November 2024 to 5 January 2025. The Goa tourism pavilion offers attendees a glimpse into the region's offerings of experiences.
This year, initiatives aimed at preserving Goa’s natural heritage while fostering economic development and community empowerment will be featured prominently.
The pavilion will witness the participation of hoteliers, tour operators and aviation industry stakeholders. Visitors can engage directly with Goa tourism officials and Goa tourism stakeholders, exploring partnership opportunities that promote responsible tourism and mutual growth.
The pavilion will focus on organising B2B meetings to facilitate tie-ups with trade members and tour operators in Germany, thereby generating business opportunities for Goa. Visitors to the pavilion can expect a diverse array of exhibitors spanning various genres, from boutique accommodations to adventure tour operators.
