After a significant gap of 14 years, the elections for the executive committee of the Modern School Old Students Association (MSOSA) are set to take place, likely around September this year. Modernites United, a dedicated group of alumni who have been actively supporting MSOSA's mission since 2010, has announced its leadership team. At the helm is Dr. Vivek Nangia, the leading candidate for the position of President.

 

Dr. Vivek Nangia, a distinguished alumnus and internationally renowned pulmonologist, currently serves as the Chief of Pulmonology (Cluster 1) at Max Healthcare and as the Principal Director and Head of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Disorders at Max Hospital, Saket. His illustrious career, spanning over 27 years, has been marked by numerous national and international accolades, including the Prestigious Modernites' Excellence Award in 2021 for his exceptional contributions to healthcare and community service. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Nangia played a pivotal role, saving countless lives and offering unwavering support to the Modernite fraternity, teachers, and the wider community with compassion and inclusivity.

 

Dr. Nangia's team, which shares his vision and commitment, includes:

Alpana Kirpal Poddar: An advocate and philanthropist, running for Vice President.

Rishabh Gulati: Editor-in-Chief at NewsX, running for Secretary.

 

Arunima Malik: Head Director of Communications at Vedanta, running for Joint Secretary.

Together, this team embodies the core values of MSOSA—integrity, respect, teamwork, and empathy—and aims to steer the association forward with renewed vigor and dedication.
