Singer-songwriter and music curator, Ankur Tewari is set to embark on his inaugural tour of the United States and Canada in April 2024. After a prolific and diverse year in 2023, which saw him delve into various projects including the release of his album 'Akela,' Tewari will perform across North America, scheduled in cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Boston, Seattle, Vancouver and Toronto.
Commenting on his Tour in April, Tewari said, “This is the first time that I am taking my music to North America and I’m excited to play music from my album Akela to an audience that may just know me for my work on Bollywood films.”
Additionally, he is slated to showcase his talent at the SXSW festival in Austin on 14 March, celebrating the intersection of technology, film, music, education and culture.
Over the past year, he launched a new record label Tiger Baby Records with friends and Bollywood directors Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, released a children’s music EP Aaja Nindiya, served as the Creative Architect of newly-relaunched Coke Studio Bharat, was the music supervisor for projects like The Archies (Netflix) and Made in Heaven (Prime) alongside writing, show-running and co-directing his show for OTT platform Prime.
