A Unique Salute to the Defenders of India, executed by White Salt Entertainments

India’s Defense Might happens to be one of the most engaging conversations across the globe currently and draws much attention and interest amongst the youth of the country.

Kolkata based Financial Advisory Company Vyana Wealth Management recently extended a unique salute to the Indian Armed Forces and roped in the city’s renowned Experiential Events Agency White Salt Entertainments to turn preliminary event thoughts into a concrete plan – An evening for and with the Indian Armed Forces, calling it ‘Defenders Of India: An Evening with Major Maroof Raza’.

The evening witnessed the prompt participation and presence of well known Indian Defense Personnel and Experts to the likes of Major Maroof Raza, Mr. Karan Dutta, Wing Commander DJ Kler with his wife, Colonel Basu and many more.

Miss India Universe 2010, Ushoshi Sengupta - daughter of an Ex-Indian Air Force Officer hosted the evening, well exhibiting the qualities that a ‘fauji’ kid happens to imbibe – great presence of mind, wit and an engaging charisma that kept the audiences absorbed throughout the event.

It is remarkable to note that the entire setup was executed in a record breaking time of 2 hours and 50 minutes. Dipti said, “This event brought with it so many challenges, I am only happy to share that we as a team have been able to address them all. At White Salt Entertainments, we have not only delivered the event to perfection but we have also managed to create what I now proudly call as ‘WSE Event Reference Point’ because we got the event venue at 4.45 in the evening, the previous event setup still being cleared, our event fabrication and technical calibrations yet to begin and the scheduled start time being 7.30pm - We were racing against time and this will sure serve as a check-point for the future!”

The event took off with a well planned and thoughtfully designed ode to India’s Mighty Defenders – themed visuals for the National Anthem followed by the Launch of a Collectors Special Defense Themed Calendar. The Calendar Launch was marked by Major Maroof Raza, Wing Commander DJ Kler, Colonel Basu and Karan Dutta along with Mr Khettry. Major Raza currently, Consultant cum Strategic Affairs Expert for Times Now and a retired Indian Army Officer made the Guest of Honour, a special session taken by him highlighting his experiences with the audience alongside his presentation delivering interesting insights into how the Indian Defense Forces happen to be one of the strongest in the world. In the end a collective solute to our Jawans made way into the gala dinner celebrating India’s mighty spirit.
