Bhuvan Lall Unveils ‘The Great Indian Genius Har Dayal’ At Event In Saint Tropez

Lord Rami Ranger of Great Britain, Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker, Georges Giraud and Frederic Allard, Deputy Mayors of Saint Tropez, grace the occasion

The book ‘The Great Indian Genius Har Dayal’ by author Bhuvan Lall was unveiled in an event held in Saint Tropez. The event saw personalities such as Lord Rami Ranger of Great Britain, Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker, Georges Giraud and Frederic Allard, Deputy Mayors of Saint Tropez, grace the occasion.

Adding a touch of historical connection to the event was the presence of Pradeep Narain, the grandson of Lala Har Dayal, the book’s subject. The Indian Ambassador to France and Monaco, H.E. Jawed Ashraf, also attended the event.

Dr Bhuvan Lall, an award-winning filmmaker, international entrepreneur, motivational speaker and author, has two critically acclaimed feature films, 35 documentary films and numerous high-profile events under his belt. His contributions also include leading a multi-billion-dollar Indian conglomerate in Beverly Hills, California and establishing the largest trade body in the Indian media sector as the Executive Director of the Indian Broadcasting Foundation.

‘The Great Indian Genius Har Dayal’ delves into the life of Har Dayal (1884–1939), a pivotal yet often overlooked figure in Indian history. The book uncovers the story of this Stanford University lecturer, who was linked to the 1912 assassination attempt on Viceroy Lord Hardinge in Delhi. This dramatic event echoed the Ghadr of 1857, challenging the British Empire’s might and inspiring the Ghadr Party in California.

In his book, Dr Lall sheds light on Dayal’s contributions to the Indian freedom struggle, predating the efforts of more widely recognised leaders like Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru.

During the event, Dr Lall’s accomplishments and his dedication to creating content with a global appeal and an Indian soul were highlighted. He continues to inspire audiences with his lectures on leadership and heroism, focusing on the Indian freedom movement from the arrival of Vasco da Gama in 1498 to the end of European imperialism in 1961.
